THE PROBLEM

Our task for this project was to design a campaign website for a political party in Nigeria.

SOLVING THE PROBLEM

USER RESEARCH

We began by conducting a user survey that helped us to understand the needs of our users.

USER PERSONA

From the results of the user survey, we were able to create a fictional audience for the website.

USERFLOW

This consists of the possible interactions a user can make within a website to complete a task from the start to finish.

WIREFRAMES

Wireframes is a skeletal layout of a webpage or an app. We created low-fidelity wireframes to help us focus on the functionality of the website rather than the aesthetics.

DESIGN SYSTEMS

We created the design systems that consisted of the style guides and the reusable components so as to maintain consistency throughout the whole design.

COLOUR CHOICE

Bright Yellow (Crayola) and Android green is a perfect combination for a youth political party campaign website as Yellow symbolizes hope and happiness while green symbolizes growth.

TYPOGRAPHY

Choosing the right fonts for your website creates a good impression on your users. So, we chose Poppins because it is an attractive font with good readability.

MAIN DESIGN

Home Page

This consists of a description of the party and an emphasis on the donate button.

YCP PAGE

The YCP PAGE that is the about page of the Youth Coalition Party contains the history, vision and mission statements , the party executives of the political party, we added some animations to give life to the page.

MANIFESTO PAGE

NEWS PAGES

DONATION PAGE

After clicking donate on the home page or navbar, the user is directed to a donation page and enters his/her data.It is a third party link so we didn’t need to add a back button.

This is the link to view the prototype.
